Well I was hoping my issue would be resolved but is not... After a few incidents with peeing on the spare bed, I have tried numerous things, such as sprays good cleaning, and all together not letting them in my spare room. I have not had an issue for the past two weeks, with peeing anywhere including my own bed.

Yesterday I cleaned and rearranged the spare room so the bed is not close to the litter and made sure they have tons of room by the litter box. We did alright for the first say 16 hours no accidents on the bed. Then this morning I get home from work to find another puddle on the bed. So my assumption is this is a behavioral problem and not a health problem. I may be wrong?

Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this situation, it is very frustrating and discouraging, since I have had both cats for months without issues then to all of a sudden this, with no change in any routines whatsoever. (also one cat is a year the other is 11 months)

In the meantime I am looking to find a camera to borrow so I may figure out which cat is peeing on the bed. But other than that I am at a loss for what to do.

First of all, you have two cats. Do you have two to three litter boxes for them? Second of all, have you had both of your kitties checked by the vet to make sure there is not a medical reason one is doing this? Third, there are holistic remedies that you can give your cat to help stop this -- if this is behavioral, it's usually caused by stress of some type. Your kitties may be inside, but perhaps there is a culprit outside that they can sense is there. Above all, clean the area completely so there is no remnants of the urine. And keep the cats out of that area! If that means moving your litter boxes.

This is probably the #1 complaint of cat owners. Cats prefer to use their litter box. They are trained to do that. When they go outside the litter box, they are trying to tell you something. Something has change -- could be different cat litter? A urinary tract infection, painful urination, crystals in their urine, cat box not cleaned properly, environmental changes. You'll have to look around and see what's different -- what's changed.

I had this problem! I also thought that it is a behavioral one, but it turned out be a UTI. Can you isolate your cats from each other for a time being? For example - one in a bathroom with a litter box, one in a bedroom with a litter box? This way you can figure out which cat it is that peeing on the bed.
