LOL so very true!

My friends husband has a FIT if he sees the cat on the counter. He immediately takes her off the counter and tells her no. I can't help but :lol:

at it and I always tell him "what do you think she does when you're not home?!"

Yesterday I was hastily preparing breakfast as I dashed out the door to go to work. I put 3 small turkey links in the microwave, took them out, and placed them on the kitchen island counter. Then put a few items in my paper sack for lunch and dashed out the door. Then I noticed... hmm, 2 links? I always make 3. Did I make only 2 this morning? Then I saw Gaga on the floor munching on something. She looked up, saw me, gathered whatever she was eating up in her mouth, and ran up the stairs with it. :lol:

Mystery solved! Yea, my bengals know they aren't supposed to be up there, so they wait until I'm not looking!

My cats only jump on the counter and kitchen table when my husband is home. I can have dinner laid out on the counter and be eating at the table and at most they will sit on a kitchen chair. He walks in the door and almost on cue, they all jump where they shouldn't be. I think they want his attention and/or do it to annoy him.

I am sure they are up there when neither of us are around, but I find it funny that they are only stinkers with him home in the kitchen. :biggrin:

We have a moggie that will steal chicken and turkey. He doesn't care about anything else, but you can't have chicken or turkey without giving him some (or him stealing it).

Diesel has developed a fascination with people food. He doesn't get on the counters but if we're watching TV while we eat using those little TV trays he tries to get into your plate. He's not very successful though as we don't let any of them take food off our plates so he stops after a couple of attempts. When he was younger you practically had to fight him off.

Raiden will occasionally jump up on the kitchen countertop, especially if there is a plastic bag up there. Also, when he's hungry and I'm opening up a can of food. He wants to be right there as I'm putting it in his dish. I simply carry him off the countertop and put his food down and he's happy! We never leave food unattended on the counter or we know we'd be in trouble! LOL

I was preparing my chicken salad for lunch one morning. Everything wrapped in clingfilm and a sandwich bag with coleslaw placed ontop (all in a bowl). Doorbell goes, I answer, come back, clingfilmn the entire bowl and off i go to work. At lunch, I start unpacking my lunch, lettuce-yes, tomato-yes, beetroot-yes, cucumber-yes, chicken...errr where's my chicken? Search around the fridge, even check my car, nothing. Go home and find a perfectly intact piece of clingfilm, unrolled on the floor and the tiny remains of my chicken. Little rats - no treats for you today!!
