I have recently bought a beautiful male, neutralized, 1 year old. However, he does not seem to accept my teenager AT ALL! He attacks him, he pees on his bed, or on the sofa where he sits.

I have tried pheromones: does not work. My teenager tries to play with him, to be nice to him, but I realize the cat reacts after there has been a "teenager crisis", as each time my son is mad at me, the cat reacts afterwards.

Has anyone experienced it and if so, how was the problem solved ?

Cats have a great sense about people. If he sees your son acting hostile against you -- your kitty's mom, then he probably gets upset and protective. Your son needs to show a little more respect toward you, and your bengal may respond positively. Now is the time for this change to happen or you may have some behavioral problems with your kitty. And do you really know how your son treats your cat when you're not around? Most cats love people -- and those they don't care for -- there is usually a good reason behind it. You need to have a talk with your son.

My two are very protective of me. When I was ill they didn't leave my side. When I cry they snuggle up to me. If I argue with my partner, both sit infront of me like guard dogs and act aloof with him until they see that we are ok and back to normal.

I would say that your cat is being protective of you and when you and your son have your moments he acts out towards him. It does also sound like your son and cat haven't bonded, it could be something as small as accidentally standing on his toe (you know how bengals love to trip us up by walking infront of us!) or maybe something more? Some cats are very good at holding grudges. Nismo didn't look at me for hours after i accidentally stood on his tail, he sat with his back towards me, wouldn't respond to me, wouldn't take any treats from me. It took hours of pleading with him to earn his forgiveness!

I would attempt to stop the moments you have with your son especially infront of your cat - this post sounds almost crazy! but Bengals are really clever animals. Its worth a go.
