Hello, I have had my Male Bengal (Winchester) since November of last year. He is neutered. When I got him he was 4 months old. He is my only pet. About two months after I got him He started to attack me right before I went to bed. My thinking was he wasn't ready to settle down and wanted to play. He also started doing this when I would leave for work. Sometimes when we are relaxing on the couch he is in my lap, and I am petting him, he will start to bite me and latch on to my arm after about 15 minutes of relaxing. Sometimes he will leave my lap and lunge at me with claws out. He will never go for my face and will always stay below the shoulders. I have remedied when I leave for work by giving him a treat and making him sit and speak. When my friends watch him when I’m out of town he does not do this to them. I have never played with him with my hands and told my friends to do the same. We play for at least 1/2 hr twice a day, and he gets to walk on the leash every other day. I've tried saying “No” but that hasn't worked, although it does in other situations. Otherwise he is an awesome cat. Does anyone have any advice or experienced this and have a remedy?
