Biggie is just over a year now, when she plays, her eyes get bigger when she's about to pounce on something, but recently she's started following me, biting the backs of my legs, and then when i tell her off, she jumps up and attacks my arm and my body. today i picked her up when she did it and told her off, and she started attacking my arm and biting me. i really need to stop her doing this because its painful!!


Any suggestions I will be grateful for!

Are you not engaging her in play time? She's stimulated and needs to get that "preying" out of her system. You need to wear her out with play time and toys and she should leave you alone. Bengals demand a lot of attention. You give it to them, or else!!! LOL

I do play with her a lot, but I also play chase with her cause she loves it, but then she goes too far and attacks me

Recently it's more difficult to play with her all the same as I'm not particularly well

I bought a laser pen though to make it easier for me, and she adores it! She also hasn't attacked me for at least a week

Beware of the laser. Laser can and will leave the cat frustrated since he can't catch it and more often than not the cat will purge that furstration on other pet or on you.

Train her to fetch so she can bring back the ball to you or play with toys like Da Bird. Mine love it.

mine understand the laser , after 10 second of chasing it he realised it was me and lost interest.

Benji used to do this a lot with my girlfriend, but eventually learned where the line was. Although this took a lot of telling off or scolding and use of behaviour sprays (initially citrus type but decided this was too cruel and water works just aswell).
She has on occasion had a go at my leg but learned she comes off the worse as I just shake her off. She has never (well until today) reacted aggressively to me telling her off.

Although has gotten close when told its night-night and time for bed when she wants to play and I need to sleep.

I would have just said be patient and use a water spray, my gf used to carry one around everywhere but the attacks are rare now. As somebody else said lots of play and stimulation in other ways will tire her out and divert attention elsewhere.

Saying that Benji freaked out today and scratched me quite badly and got very aggressive so I guess I didn't know as much about cats at all.

My cat latches onto my foot and leg!!! So, i can totally relate! But here's the thing, he doesn't do that to my boyfriend or anyone else, just me. and i spray him when needed.
