If you have more than one bengal, take the average of them into one hypothetical bengal.

So far our boy has been flawless with using his litter boxes (I hope I didn't just jinx myself!).

We have had him 1 month now and he just turned 6 months old.

BB is flawless! She nas never went out of her box and she is a little over two years old. Jasper on the other hand just turned three and will pee on something/anything left in the floor over night. BUT he has only done this when he is either stressedor ill. I don't blame him in any way, shape, or form. I don't think one breed is more prone to improper urination more than another. Just like in my case I have one thats perfect and one that needs guidance to making the right choice, or at least the choice that us humans desire. That can happen with any cat.

6 bengals plus two litters over 4 years .....very occasional

The two litters ...flawless lol

The 6 adults I've had one poop on the bed 3 times, and one poop and wee twice out of the box.
So 5 problems in all

Not sure how I'd answer. My rescue girl (likely an EG cat, so a special case really) very nearly NEVER uses the litterbox for peeing. I actually get surprised every couple of weeks to find a pee clump in the box - shocking! However, she pees almost ALL the time in the wetbar sink, and I have decided that a sink is just like a toilet really, and thus an appropriate place for her to pee. So if I look at it one way, she ALWAYS has problems (not using litter for pee), but the way I've come to accept, she NEVER has problems (always pees in an acceptable place). Her poos are always in the litter, except for one piece that was laid in front of the box one time in the year I've had her.

I feel fortunate that Raiden found his litter box without my even ever showing it to him. Smart kitty! He's been flawless in using it. I'm a proud mom.

Inky is flawless, the rest are too (except for a Schatzi protest poo one every few months). Inky will pee in the box and sashay out like it's no biggie but when she poos she will run as fast as she can out of the room the box is in and then proudly yells when she gets into the living room. It is like she wants to get away and then announces to everyone what she has done.

Mine are "flawless" at going in to use their litterbox, however they are so vigorous at burying their mess that sometimes they get carried away with the digging and the poop itself will get thrown out behind them and out through the litterbox flap it goes and plop onto the mat!!!!!

Quasar has only voided inappropriately outside his trays on 3 occasions. He is 2 years old.

1) as a young kitten, the litter we were using had been changing from bag to bag and turned into a fine, heavy consistency. He peed outside the box. I changed the litter. He peed inside the box. Problem solved.

2) we were on a trip to Yellowstone NP and had been away from the hotel box for almost 11 hours. I offered him the travel box a few times, but he could not ever settle down to use it. We were on our way back to the hotel and he settled down on the floor of the back seat of our truck and started to pee on hubby's jacket. We stopped the truck quickly and let him out on his leash. After a long walk off the main road, Q was able to settle down and poop on hard, clear ground, behind a sagebrush. Poor guy.

3) after a foot surgery, I was unable to descend the stairs for about 5 days and, so, his favourite box was not getting scooped daily. The day I made it downstairs, I arrived in the room where his box is located to find him looking at me abashedly and peeing on the floor beside his box. His box was disgusting. I certainly could not fault him for that.

While camping or hiking, on a few occasions, Q has peed in sandy places. Not inappropriate voiding, but certainly outside the box!

The last occasion (#3) was almost 1 year ago. We have had no problems since. He has 3 boxes, 1 on every level of our home but usually uses the basement one. Every 3 or 4 weeks, I find a clump in one of the other boxes.

Before FLUTD came into our lives, Aza's litter box habits were perfect (if you don't count an an occasional "over shoot" from his typical high arcing stance). There were a couple of very small incidents while recognizing and getting that situation under control (a few drips in one bath tub or another but solid waste was always in the box).

Knock on my hard head (and his)... the reliability of same will be with us with the new diet management.

1 SBT Bengal, 1 F1 Bengal and 5 domestic mixed breed cats here... No inappropriate elimination issues at all, everyone uses the litter boxes. I also pet sit dogs in my home so basically have a revolving door of different guest dogs in and out. None of the cats are confined in any way and all have access to 5 big litter bins throughout the house, which I scoop about once a day or every other day depending on necessity. They are also all on a raw diet. I use giant bins instead of regular litter trays and keep them very full with an unscented, no-dust clumping litter called Dr. Elsey's Ultra Precious Cat. :)

We've only had a couple of mishaps with Enzo.

Usually when we haven't noticed the litter tray needs cleaning out and we've had to be out all day, Not his fault at all, he's a very clean cat obviously :)

I haven't had Ponyo for long, but so far she has handled the litterbox flawlessly. She want's to pee in one and poop in the other though.
According to the breeder she used her box very well before she was spayed too. She would pee outiside of the box during heat thoug. Pretty understandable in my oppinion. I hopeflully won't have thos problems :D
