My three year old male has been peeing on my laundry basket. I've never seen him do it, only the results. He's been fixed. My laundry basket is in my closet and he loves to sleep in there. The door doesn't close all the way so I know he can't be stuck in there.

At first I noticed a little bit here and there. I tried taking him to the wet clothes and giving him a spanking, but that hasn't helped. Today when I wanted to wash my clothes, I could tell they smelled from him, but when I picked up the basket there was a ring of pee under it!

I have no idea how to stop this behavior if I can't catch him in the act.
