HI I posted here awhile ago about my "scared Bengal" Midori We tried to have her spayed a few months ago.she had a reaction to the meds and had to be brought out before she was spayed.

Well I took her back to the vet on friday and they used gas to put her under...she is now spayed BUT..She is acting as if she is still in heat?? and I have a male cat who is not fixed and he is trying to mate with her at every possible minute he gets near her...I thought once hse was spayed...she would no longer give off any signs of wanting to be mated...was I wrong??

After all she went through to finally be spayed I dont want him to hurt her..weather it be pulling stiches out..or worse!

I do think she was in heat when the spayed her...but like I said that was 6 days ago...and will a male cat try to mate with a spayed female??

Im confused!! lol
