Hehe, after the first shock wore off, I actually had to laugh at his behavior. I'm sure he didn't appreciate that either. Cats certainly do have their ways to let their humans know what they want and what they don't want. He's been very affectionate since he got back from the vet. He's not supposed to jump, but of course he's been jumping all over the place already and I'm not sure how to keep him from doing so. I've never seen a cat so starved though! He devoured his food as if he hadn't eaten anything in a week and then stepped over to get at the other cat's food, plunging his feet into the water bowl between the two food bowls. He either didn't care or maybe didn't even notice, he was so hungry. Anyway, he's back to normal eating patterns now and hasn't peed on me since. I still have to see if he'll stop spraying now.

In my old apartment, we had one covered box, and one open one. Both of my boys always used both. Now in my new apartment, I have 2 covered ones. They both go in there with no problems.

I moved in on Thursday, and they have been going in their boxes for days now, and JUST last night I discovered the pee on the bath mat, and watched him pee on the bed. He actually urinated on the bed AS I was smelling the bath mat to see if he had done so, he looked me strait in the eye and went.

To be honest, when I first brought them home, I didn't keep them in a secluded room. Diablo roamed around like he owned the apartment from day one, and Yuki was the one who was a bit shy and constantly hid under the couch.

I brought my blanket in to be cleaned, but purchased a new one, so that Diablo wouldn't smell the urine at all and keep going there. I REALLY hope he doesn't do the same with my new one. I can't keep purchasing new comforters every time he has an "accident."

He once urinated in the shower in my old apartment, and once on a different bath mat, but other then that, I have never had any problems with him using his tray.

Hmm, I don't know what else to say. I agree with tameeria, it does sound psychological. Hopefully he'll settle down...
