I love it! The woods are a great barrier between us and the next street ehind us. If the summer you'd never know there were people living behind us. The woods are 500 or 600 feet wide. Even in the winter you can only just see the other houses.

Ugh, starlings. They don't rank any higher than pigeons. Unattractive, noisy, nuisance birds! Luckily they haven't figured out we have a birdfeeder.

Last night there was a possum on the deck and he was nose to nose with Milo through the glass doors. it was really funny. I think he smelled dinner cooking and came up to see if he could ask for a bite

Monkey? Where did you see a monkey?

Wow, can you imagine Milo if you let him loose in all that? Would be jumping trees and coming back with all kinds of things

He'd never some back

He loves being outside, but only with his harness and lead. He can still climb pretty high into the trees!

We tried taking ours outside on a harness, but when they came back in they would cry to go back out again, so it seemed unfair. They seem to have accepted now that they live in the house and can go out into the cat run, but aren't to go outside, we can carefully open the front door in front of them now, without them making a dash to escape.....

Milo never tries to run out the door. But when he sees me holding his harness he goes into a frenzy of meowing and purring. He knows when it's time to go outside and play
