Next week I pick up an adult female Bengal, a Bengal kitten, and an Abby kitten.

However, I am uncertain what size pet carrier to get for the adult. I have heard people say "medium," but that size seems to vary from one manufacturer to another. Some of the carriers marked as "cat size" on their tags look to be very small.

Can anyone offer recommendations on the height, length, and width that would accommodate an adult female Bengal? She will be traveling about 6 hours in the car from Breeder to our home.

In my (admittedly) limited experience Bengals vary a lot in size as adults! Perhaps ask the breeder or current owner how big the cat is and take it from there?

I think for safety reasons the cat should not be able to move around *too* much in case they injure themselves during the journey - but there plenty of members of this forum who show their cats so will have lots of travelling tips I hope!

I brought home my two boys in a wicker carrier that was big enough for them both to lie down in - although Ernie stood and howled all the way (120 miles )
