I know how you feel Gemma, I had a similar problem with my kitten between 5-7 months.

Like Orion, my kitten was just fine apart from her poo was runny and quite smelly, she was happy energetic and eating very well otherwise.

One question, is Orion teething? According to the vet, like in human babies, teething can cause dirroreah (that's probably spelled wrong) this passed with Tosca at around 6-7 moths and has been perfectly fine ever since.

I hope that this is all that's wrong with Orion and nothing more serious.

I've bought some Science Hill Sensitive just today. Normally Orion hates biscuits, but he actually wolfed these ones down!

I'm gonna see how next week goes, and if not it's back to the v.e.t armed with all my TF info.
