Hi Tir,

I had exactly the same problem recently. I brought home a 13 wk old kittie and introduced him to my 10 month old boys and one of them was not impressed! He was hissing, growling and swiping (but without claws) at the little one and I was unsure if to step in or not. This carried on for a couple of days with me following them round the house like a lunatic!! Then taking Ginnym's advice I left them to it. And a couple of hours later I found this:



It took 4 days of lots of playing together but the end result was worth it!

take it slow and supervise........and then slowly build it up!

I did that and now.........Best of mates kittys always seem to win over the big guys hearts!

We had the same issue ( although Khema is only a month older)
- But the same hissing and spitting and swiping( with claws at first!)

we eventually left them alone for a few hours after a few days, to sort it out, as we were told we were being over-protective ....Came home to find them curled up together. They now sleep together most nights (either together or on one of our heads!!)

They still have their moments, but also seem to be much happier!!
