Ive had the same problems in the past with them opening my fridge and stealing food out of it.

They also learned to open my windows to let themselves out, bengals are very clever !!

Child locks sorted them out XX

I stopped my Bengal from going on the countertops, I wrote how I trained her in another post I think it was yesterday, maybe you could give it a try?

My kitten hasn't tried opening the cupboards, I'm not sure she's strong enough to do that anyway since mine are quite heavy.

I don't have any trouble with her doing things while I am away as Tosca only has access to the outside and the back conservatory with all her toys, food and stuff for her.

she may be doing this out of boredom, I let my Bengal out so she can get all the physical and mental stimulation she wants chasing the pigeons out of the garden while I'm away, so I don't know what to suggest to keep yours occupied.
