Well i was checking some ads out for that lady that was looking for a bengal kitten for her friend and had found an pet ad site and someone had a bengal kitten for sale for $200 dollars and this is what the add had said... VIVID TRI-COLORED ROSETTING SPOTS, beautiful rich browns and some stunning silver , all with soft glittering coat. Extra Sweet and playful female kitten.She is ready for a new loving homes, with health certificate and pedigree papers. $200.00. obo.

So i also emailed just to make sure this wasnt a scammer i already emailed someone from a different pet ad site as some breeders do use those sites and that person was a scammer from africa and she was selling a bengal kitten.

This is the reponse i had got back from this person. Note in part of it it says the poor kitten is 4 weeks old and ready for a new home.

shots,vaccines and vet records updated.. In
placing my kitten out for adoption,I am looking for
reasonable,knowledgeable and cautious person who can offer her
tenderness,nursery with lots of love kisses and hugs.I am not giving
her out for sale.she is up for adoption..These adorable,cute and
gorgeous kitten is 4weeks old and would be the perfect match for
you.She will be the best playmate you've ever dream of.With her
great personality and good temperaments with kids and other pets,she
would be the one to steal your soul.she would be coming along with

And i would never like that my baby should end up in a shelter or

She seems like a very sweet kitten and just adorable but i had to respond back with are you sure she should be coming home at just 4 weeks old and not 13-15 weeks old. If she is ready for a home and this person does not know what they are doing i may take a chance on her as i just feel so bad for the poor little girl. I know it could be a bit of a risk specially with lady coming home in soon to be 11 weeks that or i really hope someone who knows about bengals will take her i am not sure if she would be good for a first timer who hasnt done much research.

context and grammar does seem very like spam emails I receive.... In reality I hope this baby doesnt really exist if u understand me..

Going by instinct I would say 100% scammer. Most breeders adverts do not have all that jumbo mumbo rubbish, they stick to the point.

Just ask to visit and see what they say.

its always a scam sadly

Sounds extremely dodgy to me. The way it's written in poor language with basic facts wrong (like being vaccinated at 4 weeks) and peculiar terminology like "handbook" makes it sound very much like a scam to me and not a very good one at that.

As Lance suggests, ask them if you can come and visit and see what they say. Don't pay any money out. If you're really worried that the kitten may actually exist and be being sold at 4 weeks, then contact the local animal welfare people - that's the only way to stop things like this, buying the kitten would just encourage them to do it again.

Aouch, I don't think it's a genuine add either...

CKC is for dogs only! CCA (Canada's Cat Registry) is the only one for cats in Canada: they even write it on their website. You can register your cats with TICA as well, but CCA is specific to our country.

Let's hope she's not a real baby! I sooo hate that nonetheless!!

yeah i was thinking why on earth would a bengal be registered with ckc that is something my moms dog is registered with.

I wonder where most scammers get their pictures from. Specially if they dont have any animals.
