I am completely confused

I found two adorable little marble kittens that were born in 2008 but i am sure they are gone already as they are just gorgeous!!! Yeah its nice to know which one we want but we still need to put the 300 dollar deposit down on her before anyone else can or else i would be so sad. But does it always go by how you are on the waiting list or is it whoever can show up on the day that is set. I would be completely heartbroken if i wasnt able to get aurora(since i have already chosen her registered name and nickname for home)

It's probably up to the individual breeder but in most cases they'll liaise with potential owners, send them pictures etc and reserve the kittens according to enquiries received. Provided you turn up when you're asked to and make sure they know which one you want, then she should be reserved for you. Nobody else should be able to take her ahead of you unless you haven't made a definite arrangement with the breeder. You do need to make sure that's the way the breeder works though.

well hopefully she will send me an email sometime today and maybe i should ask her if i can just say i want the female since they arent to far away and already have the deposit ready for whenever she says we are able to come. I am a complete worry wart sometimes and it drives me bonkers.

It must be so exciting for you - I can understand your worries. Tell them you definitely want to reserve the female and then follow whatever plan they ask but don't pay for anything until you've visited, seen the kittens and checked that you're happy with the conditions they're being kept in etc. You'll probably then be asked for a deposit (which may be non-refundable if you change your mind). Once that's paid, the deal is done and you can start planning for when you take her home, then the fun starts :lol:

Yeah it is so different our dog came from the humane society and our 6 year old cat my boyfriend rescued when he was 4 weeks old as his mother was a stray and he was born on the street. So it really is an interesting experience dealing with a breeder. But so far it hasnt been to bad so i know we would do it again specially if we are getting our marble as well. Since she is the only female i am sure people will be wanting her but so far i dont think there is anyone else on the waiting list so that could be a good thing for us. Yeah we wont plan on giving the money until we are able to see them to make sure they are all healthy. The first time we went to visit they had said there will be a 300 dollar deposit to hold the kitten of our choosing until they are able to go to their new homes. I hope we are able to take her home on our birthday( i will be 23 and my boyfriend will be 29 and yes we both have the same birthday except i was born in 1986 and he was born in 1980) i cant wait for the day we can bring her home it will be so awesome finally being able to say i have my cutie at home and having loads and loads of pictures.
