Thanks for the tips guys. I know in 1 ring his coat made a big difference in his final placings so if I can improve it then fingers crossed.

Sorry to sound stupid but where would I buy the chamois from and what am I looking for? and the silk would you just use a piece of silk material?

You can buy chamois gloves for grooming at pet shops and a piece of of silk will do

the chamois is what you use to wash the car...the soft version, not the hard one, & don't wet it first lol!
so you can pick them up for a few pounds anywhere that has basic car accessories, i think i got mine from wilkinsons.

i haven't tried silk but yes, i would guess just a normal piece of material.

you'll have him softened up & glowing in no time
