So I did it!!!

She wanted to escape few times while doing her right front, but for the left front paw, we did it in couple seconds all...She is such a good girl.I am happy...



I actually used the clipper, man usually use to clip their nails. I find it better than siccers. It gives you more space to work and be faster..

We do Zigsa's nails together. Jo can make him really docile and sleepy by sitting him on her lap on his back and rubbing his tummy and paws.

When he's gone all dopey, she'll gently squeeze his paws to extend one nail at a time and then I'll snip it with the cutters - being careful not to cut too short and make it bleed.

He does still fidget a bit and try to pull away towards the end but doesn't struggle too much.

We wait until they are in a deep sleep - it is is two person job. They are in the comfort of one of our laps and the other has the job of hunting down the paws and getting those claws. Luckily they were done this way since they were young kittens at our breeders (Whaface) so are used to it so we just usually get the evil eye but are happy(ish) for us to do it.
