i've filled gaps in the kitchen withpieces of wood...ok it doesn't look like a wonderful piece of interior design lol, but the cats are safer.
also, i have wire tidies that all the cables go into. you can buy them quite cheap from most hardware-type shops.

Hi my kitten like glasses of water as well so watch out if you leave them lying around. I have had lots of broken glasses! I have to hide all my food as he pinches it when i'm not looking. I know this isn't to do with proving the house but i wish some one would have warned me. lol. Have fun

I think I'll get my dad the family "handyman" to get and cut down some wood to fit and block off the washing machine/fridge then, better safe than sorry!

Indy used to like glasses (worn type) so be careful if you put yours down. They like to chew the arms especially.
