I usually name my pets after gods/goddesses and people in mythology (Achilles, Rhea) and my younger lab is named after an egyptian demon (Qenna). It's very fitting for her.

For my bengal kitty, I wanted something to do with snow or the color silver. I looked at mythology names and wasn't coming up with anything and then I remembered my trip to Alaska and Denali was the name of one of the mountains there and it fit perfectly!

The perfect name will come to you! Lol, don't feel bad if your kitty is nameless when you bring him home. Poor Qenna was nameless for 2 weeks

I had in my mind name like JET, then I thought BANDIT - which is the kitties name now, my hubby's favorite TV character when young........
we have her home and I nickname her LITTLE RASCAL too :lol:

When I want she pays attention to me or follows me I call her BANDIT, while in the conversation with hubby we talk about her many times like RASCAL... :twisted:
