Just want to see if anyone can offer any advice...for the last 2 days Babydoll has been very vocal, meowing at every opportunity (this is rare!) However today I have noticed that she keeps walking around with her stomach quite low to the ground and keeps throwing herself on her back. When I picked her up she layed quite strangely with her rear end raised in the air. She is still eating and drinking ok and still keeps manically running around randomly. Some of you may remember she was admitted to the vets a few weeks ago with gastrica but I don't think it's realted as she has been ok since then. Any ideas??

no not yet, do you think thats waht it is, what are the normal signs???

It certainly sounds as if Babydoll is on heat. Typical signs are pushing along the floor on the tummy with bottom raised, rolling around, being very vocal and showing extra affection.

I would book her in for spaying as soon as possible. She may make a strong effort to escape outside especially if there is a local Tom in the vicinity. Also she may start spraying to mark her territory and really you should try to avoid her doing this as some females can carry on even after neutering.
