Thanks again everyone.

Well, I took Max to the vets again and the head nurse receptionist said I'd done the right thing and there were no problems with taking him back at all. He took Max's temperature and it was 106.something, so something obviously wasn't right. He asked me if I wanted all the tests doing, and said it would be between £165 and £300 and I said there was no problem with that at all.

So the vet kept him in, and I left the surgery minus Max and all I can do now is wait for the phone call....

The thing is, he's never vomited, never had diarrhoea, toileted in the right places, apart from this morning, he still seemed to eat ok, but the big thing was his lack of playfulness and that's about the only other thing apart from the size of his tum. His eyes are still big, and his coat still good and he still cleans himself.

I'll keep you posted anyway!
