Hi
You can ask 20 people who live with Bengals what they are like, and will get "some" different answers from each one! (smile)
I have 5 Bengal Cats. 2 are 3 year old sibling sisters, 2 are 2 year old sibling brother/sister pair and one is an EG (F1) Bengal Boy -- who is just over one year.
The two sisters look the MOST alike. They are very tight pelted and highly glittered. The others are all very different looking, from each other.
Dagger is very rufoused (more red in coloring) his fur is a little longer than the two sisters, and is VERY SILKY. His sister is more "ticked" but she is also glittered, which makes her look more like an Early Generation than the others who are SBT's. The F1 Boy is both ticked and glittered - but his rosettes are JET BLACK.
My EG boy and the two sisters LOVE raw meat, and get it 3 times a week (sometimes more frequently) I supplement that with vitamin, calcium and taurine supplements. They all love high grade canned food. (They seem to prefer the poultry flavors, but will also eat the beef flavors, too. None of my Bengals like "fish flavor" cat food - but will eat "feeder fish" when I buy them and let them "catch" them in the tub.) And occasionally they eat Royal Canin Siamese 38 (very high protein) kibble.
My EG boy and one of the sisters is VERY vocal, while the others aren't AS vocal -- they only "speak" when they have something IMPORTANT to say.
They LOVE to play any kind of interactive games. They fetch, and thrive on the "DaBird" toy I belive is available internationally.
Three of my 5 are VERY affectionate, 2 are not quite as affectionate, but all gravitate to me, when I'm sleeping. (Yes, my bed sometimes seems VERY crowded.)
They get along with my rescue cats well, and are much more playful than any other breed I've lived with.
I have a blogspot where I have pages and pages of photos of my cats. If you would like to take the time to go look at the photos, it will give you an idea how different they can look, as they grow and mature.
Have fun with your new "baby" -- I'm sure your life is taking a LEAP into much more "entertainment" while you're home with your "baby"!

Have fun!
