ahhh good point. methinks some judicious testing with varying weights may be in order.

Dolly loves to jump from the armchair onto the top of a glass fronted cabinet in my living room which is about the height of a wardrobe. She does it in one, very graceful leap, and then sits there looking down on the world. She did it last night when the kittens were in the room and I swear they had a look of absolute awe on their faces - little Poppy just sat there gazing up at her for a few minutes as if to say "when I grow up I want to be able to do that". I wish I could have caught it on camera. Unfortunately for Poppy (but fortunately for my furniture), none of the moglets show any sign of jumping prowess.

I didn't even think about the piano.. I will be moving soon with my bf and he has a piano that has been in the family forever. Gezz.. I guess I am going to have to keep the soft paws on Olly even after I move out. Matt already has issues with him as Olly likes to chew on his things and the fact that Olly is always trying to look for something to get into or mess with..

For the fringe I give it a hour or two after they see its there.. LOL. Good luck on that one.

Kim: My Olly is only a mix but I am guessing that doesn't matter. He turned one March 13. He is 15lbs and still looks like he is growing.

Well i'm going to remove it from the wall, i'm not confident it will stay on the wall and I'd dread the mess i'd come home to, so to stop me from worrying everyday, i'll take it down and replace it with a mirror to hide the holes and he can look in it to his hearts content :D

next time my two climb up to peer at themselves in the mirror i will take a piccie,

As long as your bengal has lots to do he wont scratch at your piano. I was worried sick about my leather couches, and to be honest they havent yet!! gotten their claws into it.

Have you got your furbabies yet?
