Hi,

Does anyone have any ideas for outdoor toys and things to keep my babies amused and interested whilst outside. Now the enclosure is 'safe and secure'if not completly finished we have been trying to come up with some novel play things. Garden play tunnels for children, suspending a 'swinging' plank, bubble blowing machines and dare i a water splash

a washing up bowl with water & ping pong balls in. or one of those plastic baby baths.
an outside climber with skywalks, like at catplaystions.
crinkle tunnels that are plastic coated rather than furry.

Thanks for those - i think i may have the only Bengals that aren't that struck by water though! They will sit on the edge of the bath but if they get even the smallest of splashes then a rapid exit is made!
its so tempting sometimes....

update - we bought the active X kids play tunels and tent from Argos, what a hoot - they love it. all the bits have been moved around and they are knackering themselves out chasing each other - which gives my toes a rest at 3 in the morning!
Max has even managed to collaspe one of the bits (they twist and fold down for easy storage) i haven't a clue how he did it cause i have trouble - ha ha :D Thankfully Freya wasn't inside but she crawled between the top and bottom and MAx jumped on her head! - ah Bengals....... he themcame and 'asked' me to put it right. bless straight back in the pair of them!

i would suggest long strips of towling (or similar sturdy fabric) hanging from the roof. they wiggle in the breeze and give an interesting climbing chalenge.

only downside is the inevitable towel climbing that will go on as you are getting out of the shower

Thanks

It is made from 4 6'x3' garden gazebos from Woolies! surrounded with deer fencing.
We are going to post a seperate thread with full instructions and picces as it is really adaptable ans we have loads of ideas to make it better as well.

What a fantastic enclosure, it's given me some good ideas for when OH gets round to building one for our horrors.

I LOVE the pictures! It's so nice to watch the little darlings at play. It looks like your two have been spoilt rotten with all those fab playthings. I want to go in there and play myself!

We got a bag of 100 plastic balls and tipped them into a paddling pool for our two and they love it (with or without water). Mungo tries to cover himself up completely (doesn't make a good job of it) and then 'surprises' Belle by jumping out on her when she walks past - as if she didn't know he was there

i LOVE the piccies & the enclosure!!! i'm looking at enclosing my whole garden (it's not a huge garden) & something like that could do the trick. it looks like the playthings were a hit too! :D

i love the enclosure, it gives them plenty of room to run around in. we will be extending ours by next summer, when the girls are fully grown, i think they will need a bigger place to run and fight in. thanks for your pictures, I expect you have enough in there to keep your two out of mischief.
