Ok folks I had a little package arrive from the states yesterday & in it was the interesting 'Dragonfly' toy for cats.

I'll explain the design -

At on end there is a short 4 inch wood handle, protuding out of it is a slim piece of wire around 3 feet long it then end in a decorative dragonfly with plastic wings & a body made out of some sort of plastic.

Now I can't stress enough that this is not like the Da'bird as it won't take kindly to be chewed on or pulled apart, i would only use this purely for your cats to chase & leap for.

Now here comes the science bit

Once out of the wrapper play around with it to get used to how the wire bends, it will bounce enticenly or zoom around the room.

Then just add your furlings!!!

Jim

We got two dragon fly toys today from the states too

We got a good deal £10 including postage for the two!!

Kera seems to like it, we alternate between those and the da bird and Kera has a little ball with feathers and a bell on a rope she loves to play with... we have to spend 15 mins to 1/2 hour playing with her every evening otherwise we'd never get to sleep at night!!

I bought the dragonfly's from thecatcradle18 on ebay, real nice lady to deal with and arrived within a week from the states. She's the cheapest I've seen with the dragonfly's.

I've called the people who make Da Bird, and they do something to their feathers that make the scent so attractive to the cats...that they can't stand it. That's why every Cat LOVES Da Bird!! I'm guessing it's liquid cat nip. And they told me too the way the feathers are designed are made to sound like a real bird flying by.
