Here's an IMPORTANT tip:

1. If you've had cats in your home for many years, don't go to the pet store and get anyzmatic cleaner.
2. Especially don't get a blacklight
3. Do *not* put batteries in the black light, and then start shining it around the house.
4. If you've done all this, try not to freak out, there's still time to abort this madness. Walk away, pretend steps 1-3 never happened!
5. Then don't go around spraying enzymatic cleaner everywhere
6. If you did that (I TOLD YOU NOT TO!) don't bring the blacklight back out again and access your progress.
7. Don't get a Bissell with special enzymatic pet cleaner
8. Don't clean the carpets with said cleaner.
9, Don't bring out the damn blacklight again! Gosh darnit, aren't you listening???
10. Don't re-clean your carpets again and again even though you and everyone else swears they can smell nothing but pleasant smelling freshly cleaned carpets.
11. Then don't start researching what it would cost to replace all the carpet in your house.
12. Then don't wonder how it was that you were a happy person prior to all this madness!

And most of all... don't say I didn't warn ya!

Don't have to tell me twice! With the OCD, I'm pretty sure I would have a breakdown with breaking out a blacklight... I'll never do it, even if I have a urinary problem. If I find out about spots that I've been walking on for days, weeks, years... that will be the end of me.
