I've a female bungalow kitten called Rosie
She is 4-5 months old. She was on a raw diet (natural instinct) which she loved!
On Christmas I covered my cooked turkey up and left it on the kitchen counter only to find it on my kitchen floor boxing day! I also have 2 non bengal cats! So as you would imagine all 3 had a nice feast! Anyway Rosie sort of went off her food where i noticed she didnt eat as much up to now where she refuses to eat it and I know she is hungry
She will eat cooked ham (processed) as i dropped a slice on the floor and she tried to eat my babies weetabix and I caught her trying to eat cheese savoury bites....
I've been and bought Johnson diarrear tablets as she has diarrear too
I'm just wondering if anyone else can shed some light if they've been through similar?? I will be taking her to the Vets tomorrow but I'm hopeful the tablets will work!

Welcome to our forum! You are doing the right thing in taking Rosie to the vet. Parasites are very common, which result in diarrhea and not wanting to eat. Usually, vomiting can be involved. Know that cats must eat. It is important that they get some nutrients. Fatty liver disease can start after 48 hours (the body starts using up the fat). If it is not stopped in time, it can be fatal, thus I always take Raiden to the vet if he hasn't eaten in 24 hours. My vet is big on using a syringe and getting some food into his system until he feels better to eat on his own.

The feast could be the problem -- especially if your kitties were not used to enjoying such a cooked bird. Hopefully, your vet will determine the issue and provide the proper medications. If giving Rosie the tablets didn't help, then it may be something more serious. In the event the vet finds a parasite, your other kitties may get it as well as the parasite is shed with the poop. Making sure the litter boxes are spotless is one way to prevent the spread. And if it turns out to be something else, make sure it is not contagious to your other kitties.
