Yea, you are going to get beaten up by your kitten no matter what
I let my cats sleep in my bedroom, wherever they wanted, starting pretty early. The bengals did attack toes and feet, probably because a cat can't really resist something that rustles under a hiding spot like the blankets. That lasted probably 4 months or so. When she does that, just let her know that it's not acceptable (put her out, etc). More important though, you need to stay very disciplined about not letting her wake you up and get food, play, or attention. The moment your cat learns that she can do something (like screech at you) that results in getting attention or food on-demand, they will repeat that behavior over and over. That's actually the biggest danger when you first start having your cat sleep in the bedroom. Make sure that the precedents that you establish now are the ones you are going to be able to live with in the future!
One tactic is to have an exhausting playtime right before bed. You would need to tire your cat out though, otherwise you are just revving their engine right before you turn in for bed, and that's sure not what you want!
