Hi all, Was wondering if Bengal front paws are different than other cats. I noticed that Billy Joe seems to have an extra pad and claw on the bottom of his front paws, similar to what a dew claw on a dog has. Is this normal? Also BJ is now 5 months old and has a habit of suckling on our hands and it can be quite pain full after a while, almost like a big leach. I've read that it's most likely due to him being taken from his mother too soon, just wondering if it also maybe due to teething? Thanks for any advice anyone may have.

It is called "polydactyl" it is a physical abnormality but will not affect your cat in the slightest. It just means there is more of him to love

I've noticed bengal paws are slightly different from other domestic cats. That said, mine doesn't have any extra toes at all.
