We bought a low power one from the pet store. It was an instant hit. While not as popular as the fuzzy mouse/fishing pole toy I made, she seems to love it.

Whenever I get a little mischievous I'll run the dot across another family member and then watch the madness unfold. Fortunatly, our little girl has learned to mess with the humans in the house WITHOUT deloying her claws.

Here in the US, I was able to get them at PetSmart. They were actually hanging on the rack with all the other cat toys. It cost around $10.

You might be able to find them at office supply stores to since some people actually use them as they were intended when giving presentations.

I haven't lived in the UK in over 5 years so I don't remeber what the equivelents would be there.

Amber loves hers - great for giving her a run whilst I'm trying to watch telly too! I point it up the cat tree, along the settee, up the scratching post - if you just run it on the floor she's not so keen.

(Oh good she just slipped from my desk on a big pile of paperwork...)

I bought 2 from PetsatHome but they were rubbish and very poor quality. Took them back, andnow have a much better one from Pet Supermarket with my food order. Was in the sale and is much better quality.

Mungo loves his laser pen. He starts going wild when he hears the drawer where it's kept being opened and will spend ages chasing and pouncing on the light. Belle doesn't even bother to open her eyes and is very uninterested in it
