The edible outside

So.. this maybe a "newbie" question but.. It's spring and everything is growing. Loki keeps munching on plants outside. What do I need to keep him away from typically? We've got onion grass, henbit (a mint "cousin"), dandelions galore outside down here and he wants to taste it all...

Raiden loves to munch on fescue grass. Luckily, he stays away from the other plants.

So far he nibbled on some onion grass (wild chive) and I stopped him, that stuff isn't good for cats it appears.. And he loves to bite into the dandelion puffs, but he doesn't eat them, just likes to attack them and watch the seeds scatter... :)

I would check everything very carefully. I lost our 9 year old boy in July - very quickly with liver and kidney failure. While on hold with the vet heard "all parts of lily plants can be deadly to cats". I had a lily on my poor deck area and he was eating the leaves - I put it outside but it may have been too late. I don't know if that was what caused him to leave us, but I will not take a chance again. Plastic plants for us! I guess you can control what they eat if going for a walk, that's different. Hope all goes well. :rolleyes:
