Many thanks in advance xx

Yup - Its called a door!
I use two baby gates one over the other, and fill in the small gap over the top. Even then he will try to climb over.....

You can buy screens which attach to the door frame, but my boy just bowled through one of them as if it was tissue paper!

Is there such a thing as a bengal proof screen? Cats usually damage them if they try to climb them. I'm guessing you want to keep your door open and have something there to keep the bengal inside. There are actual screen doors that fit outside an outside door. We have one on our back door, so we can leave the inside door open and enjoy the great weather. The screen is on the top and there is a window on the bottom. Raiden loves to look out the bottom window.

How portable does it need to be?

If you want full door coverage, you may be able to build your own, say three sections, hinged together (maybe to fold zig zag style with a couple of hinges) and kick out type legs, like you get on fold down leaf tables, you should be able. To use bolts to keep it rigid at the seams, on the sides when in place.
