Hello all!

I just a quick question for those of you in the UK with indoor Bengals, who you take out for walks. Have you had your furbabies vaccinated for FelV? And should I? I understand that it's not an airbourne disease, & is passed by saliva (bites etc) which is obviously not an issue when out on walkies. I was just wondering if there was a danger of contraction from, for example, sniffing/marking something a diseased might might have sniffed/marked..

Obviously would like to avoid the stress & expense of another round of vaccinations if they are not neccesary.

My youngest are indoor kitties and only go out if taken for walkies but I vaccinate them for everything. I would rather be safe than sorry and there is always a chance they will make a getaway attempt and succeed (as mine have done in the past!).

I have mine vaccinated against everything even tho they are indoor cats and only go out in my garden.

I'm in favor of vaccinations regardless. You never know if the cat will one day get outside without you and you want your kitty to be safe. I had mine out on a leash one day and he spotted a neighbor's male cat and he jerked the leash right out of my hand and when I got to them, Raiden was on top of the cat biting the crap out of him. So, anything can happen.
