Hi there. My husband and I have two Bengal cats: Luna and Mylo, who are nearly 2 years old. We live in a house with a garden in Wandsworth and they are usually indoor cats. We let them out in the garden under supervision and occasionally they escape but we just have to follow them/ a couple of times look for them and bring them back home. On Friday night Mylo escaped and we have not seen him since. We have looked everywhere in the surrounding area, informed all the neighbours, called the vets, the council, put some posters around... We are really sad and desperate and do not know what else we can do to find our boy. He is neutered and micro-chipped, but have no news and need help desperately. There are lots of foxes and cats in this area and we are getting more and more worried. Any suggestions? Thank you all.

I pray you find Milo. He is beautiful. Cats can slip away so quickly. Catproofing your garden so they can't escape will help to keep at least Luna safe. I can't even turn my head when I'm walking my bengal because he will end up going under or behind something where I can't follow him with the leash. You have to keep your eyes on them just about every second they are outside. I know are sick with worry .... all you can do is keep looking for him and calling him. If he's not used to be out in the big wide world, he's probably terrified himself. He could be "hiding" anywhere. So you need to go out at all hours of the day and night.

Good luck. Please keep us posted. I always hate it when a little one is missing like this. {{{HUGS}}}

Get a cat trap, Cats Protection will probably loan you one.
I doubt he has gone far if he is an indoor cat, he is probably holed up somewhere pretty close by. Food in the cat trap will entice him out.

A favourite food he already knows and loves may help.
I would suggest printing up some flyers with a piccy to post through all the neighbours doors.... sometimes people assume a found cat has no owner and the prettier they are the quicker they can jump to that conclusion.
no collar = no owner is a common assumption and not everyone knows about micro-chipping pets
Flyers in doors will help if someone has already found him.

Try walking the route/places he has gone before just in case and if you have jackets for them take Luna (and her scent) with you too.

Fingers and toes crossed...
Its still pretty warm out. My thoughts are with you.

I'd hoped to find a post of you saying you'd found him. Keep looking and do not give up!
