Oh yeah, that's so true! I was so stressed when she was at the vet, I couldn't think of anything else.

I'll give her a special hug from you!!! :D

Kia is under supervision 24/7. I really don't want to get the Elizabethan collar for her (I have horrible experience with that cone), so I'd rather watch her all the time, I know it sounds insane, but I take shifts with my husband (well he watches her, while I try to catch up on my sleep), and make sure she doesn't bug her stitches. So far she only licked them, but I read that saliva is good for the wound. Is that right?

She already climbed the curtains, I've almost got a heart-attack because of it. :D She is so active, but I have to make sure that she is not running around too much. I am at bliss when she sleeps, and let me tell you that doesn't happen very often! So I am her nurse, and I take the night shift to watch her! hee hee, I know I am crazy, but I really want her to be healthy and I have the responsibility to make sure that she won't hurt herself or take her stitches out.
Well, not much sleep for me for a while, so I am going to be so cranky for a few days! Something like this --->

Aww, Kia is a very lucky fur-child to have such a loving and caring Mummy :D Licking her stitches won't hurt her at all, and I know those elizabethan collars are a nightmare. I've never used one, and wouldn't like to try one on a Bengal!

A few more days, and you can relax once more!

Oh Thank You so much, you are so sweet!

It's been 7 days since Kia's spaying! Everything is back to normal, she is healthy, running around like mad, her stitches are still there, (will be removed on Friday) and I can finally go to sleep at nights!!!!!

So if anyone is worried about her cat being spayed, my advice is just watch her for a few days, make sure she doesn't bug her wound, and give her lots of attention! (They love that! ) :)

Well I asked if her weights and everything were appropriate and she said she isnt FAT persay, but it looks like shes a little to heavy for her age, and that shes on the "fat road"

just keep an eye on her hun, bengals are very muscle-heavy, so as long as she is well-exercised & keeps those muscles toned, she should be fine. is your vet aware of the average weight for a bengal? sometimes they aren't, especially if they don't come across them very often
