I only know what I can read from your posts and I am clearly seeking more information from a position of care and desire to help.
I just got alot of useful info I didnt yet have that I can use to give more advice if you are asking for advice here? ... you are right?

All the symptoms you have posted regarding malabsorption apply to parasites and other gut infections.

Chances are that both cats would likely have parasites but they can also deal with them differently so what makes one ill may not necessarily make another ill I had 4 cats that were all positive for TF. Two had liquid poo, one had occasional soft poo and the other had firm poo.

Malabsorption is a rare problem and different foods will affect the gut differently. All other potential and usual reasons for soft, runny and liquid poo should be eliminated first.

If I remember correctly this is your second cat that you introduced to your other Bengal pretty much straight away with no isolation, might be wrong but that is what I think I remember. It is possible that she has had this issue since then and this is a flare up. I would certainly get stool specimens tested for parasites including TF before going down any stressful interventions like bloods, X-rays, barium meals etc.

This forum goes through patches of quieter times often, has done for years. It is also summer holidays so always a bit quieter.

I would suggest taking in a fecal sample for both of them as they are so close. Chances are between the shared litter boxes, beds, cuddles, naps, and, I am sure, grooming each other, if it is a parasite, they both have it. As least then the vet will have one firm poo and one that is runny and mucusy to look at and the healthy looking poo could more easily reveal any parasites. It will also give you a second chance to see if maybe one is shedding a parasite and the other isn't.

After waking up this morning to a trail of poo along the carpet to the litter box daisy has been taken to the vets who are keeping her in and running every test possible to get to the bottom of the cause

Stool samples, blood tests and an ultra sound are all currently being done.

My vet tho did try convincing me that what's going on is 'perfectly normal' but it's us owners who know truly what's normal and what's not with our cats, but at the same time he wanted to run the tests.

She's eating and 15-20 mins later she's pooing it back out. It's going through her way too quick.

I will get the blood and poo results next week and ultrasound later today

Phone and tell them to send a poo specimen off to the lab for PCR testing of TF.... vets don't routinely do this test until all other avenues have been ruled out... this should be done before bloods and ultrasound! I do get annoyed at vets that go for the whole invasive stressful tests without first eliminating things they can diagnose from non-invasive tests.

He won't send off for pcr testing for TF, I've asked. He'll only do it later down the line if something shows up?

My vet is the same way, since having Jasper he has had runny poo on and off and was doing good on raw food until the last couple of weeks! My vet wouldn't even do any parasite test until I got him off of raw food so I took him to a new vet last week and I am still waiting to hear the results! But like your cats, jasper has abnormal poo and BB is perfectly fine! It's really hard trying to keep one out of the others box and keeping every 100% clean, especially when you are out of your home all day!

I do have to agree with sazza! This forum is not so much about giving advice or options to consider, it's more in your face and do what I say or to hell with you! I think things need to lighten up a bit and try to understand that everyone has their own opinions and no one has to do EVERYTHING that is suggested!

I would agree with Lollo as what is the point of a load of very expensive tests, when one test may give the answer.

TF appears to be very common amongst Bengal cats and kittens that have diarrhoea or soft, smelly poo, from day one or very quickly after coming to their new home. Incontinence of poo is often present too, and/or cats not quite making the litter tray.
Having listened to stories of "try this" food and "try that" food and "negative" faecal samples, the whole sorry affair then tends to go on for months and months, and all the time the poor cats/kittens have diarrhoea.
And after all that TF is eventually diagnosed anyway. Having diarrhoea for months must be so uncomfortable. and stressful for the cats.

Lollo has excellent credentials re TF, she is medical, so she understands TF, and she has first hand knowledge of it having had TF diagnosed and treated in her own cats after the usual "try this, try that" regime.
So why anyone would not want to short cut a lot of very expensive and time consuming tests all for the sake of one relatively cheap, non-invasive easy test, is beyond me...

I understand that 100% but you have to keep in mind that some vets(mine included) will not treat for tf and therefore will not even test for it! My vet swears tf will eventually work itself out and the treatment is far more dangerous than having the symptoms! I know that I wouldn't want diahorea for months on end but for me to get the test i would have to make a two hour drive to the nearest vet to test, which btw is what I did! I am also not sayin anything negative towards lollo or anyone else for that matter! I am just saying that the way things are put into words can come across as I know everything and you are just a fool(again not referring to anyone in particular) I just think its important to guide someone to the right decision instead of telling them its this way and nothing else!
