Hello! Any tips on how to stop our little kitty biting a scratching our hands?

We are telling her "NO" in a firm voice, moving away, ignoring her and distracting her with toys but she just loves hands!! We don't use our hands as toys as we want to discourage this as early as possible.

Is there anything else I can do?

Ouch!!! Well, kittens do love to play and hands and feet are wonderful prey as they move. All you can do is engage her in playing with other cat toys. I didn't get to "enjoy" the kitten stage with my Bengal and he has no interest in playing with hands or feet. Keep on with the "no" as eventually she will figure out what it means. Good luck.

You are doing the right things. I suspect, being a rescue cat, she probably didn't learn these social behaviors from mom and siblings.... That is often done from 6 to 13 weeks so, unless she was still with mom and siblings until then, it is likely she needs retraining.

Try to have focused play sessions which will use up some of her energy. Never use hands at all in play, always wands and distance toys. Maybe try to clicker train her to do things, this will focus her mind on something else.
