Anybody have any suggestions about what to do with a Bengal when you go on vacation?

I have a 8 month male bengal. He has been in our house for about 2 months now. We left once but just for a few days with someone coming over morning and night to feed him, give him water, and give him some attention. Now we have a vacation coming up in 3 weeks and are trying to think about what to do. The person that previously stayed is unwilling and wants us to bring the cat to their home. Is this a good idea for bengals? I know the best is for someone to stay in the house but I'm not sure if this is possible this time around. Are bengals alright staying at home for this long with someone checking up on them? Any idea/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What type of vacation is this? Is there a way for you to take your kitty with you? We take Quasar almost everywhere with us.

I prefer to board my kitty. He will have a three-level kitty condo and 30 minutes each day in their cat playroom. Plus if something comes up, the vet is right there to take care of things. I know a great pet sitter who took care of an outdoor cat for me, but my Bengal is an escape artist and I would not want her to feel badly if he accidentally got out and she couldn't round him back up. I like going on vacation and not worrying about a pet. So whatever works for you and gives you peace of mind is what you need to do.
