My daughter has one of her friends over, this same little girl has been here time and time again since we have had both cats and all has been well! Both cats have always been curious but have kept their distance! Well tonight Jasper and BB both have stayed in a completely different room from us,which is very unusual! Well it is now bedtime( past it actually) and they are both in my bed! Jasper is sitting here with me hissing! There is nothing here for him to be upset with! My daughter just came in to tell me goodnight and he is hissing at her and will not allow her near my bed! It's really strange, any ideas to what could cause him to act this way? He has never had a problem with visitors, but prefers to stay away from any kids that come over! I am puzzled! He never hissed like this when he and BB were introduced! Honestly it kinda worries me a little! I plugged in a feliway just in case he is stressed! I am just worried he is ill!

Well an update: this behavior went on well into the morning hours! Jasper slept on my chest, which he usually sleeps on a blanket at the foot of the bed! He was really strange and acted almost scared! It really surprised me this morning when he woke me up head butting my face! He has never done that before either! There is a Tom cat that someone has dropped here and he keeps getting into the cat nip that is growing in the garden! Maybe he had Jasper upset! IDK it was really worrying me that he might be getting sick but he is his usual lovin self this morning an even gave the little girl a head butt this morning! Really weird and I am still puzzled!

Something upset him, that's for sure. Glad he's back to normal.

<3 headbutts although Lilly does it at like, 2am, 4 am and 6am along with the loudest purrs and little meows all in the name for a fuss! They sure know how to pick the right time lol
