I have 2 bengals... One male is 4 this month, hyper and a typical Bengal. The other male is 4 in September and completely the opposite, loves to sleep and loves the cuddles. They are both indoor cats but I let them in the garden during the summer when I'm in there to. We have a terraced house with a low back fence that backs on to a track and fields.
My lil' boy who is 19 months is very boisterous and follows Samson (the eldest) around everywhere and visa versa. The past few weeks Samsons behaviour has changed he darts out of the way when Finley my lil' boy is around and he constantly licks his bits. He jumped the back fence a couple of weeks back but didn't go very far and came back within the hour. Yesterday he kept running out to the garden so I kept putting him back in, I then put him on a lead and he went nuts... Twice. Later on when getting my boy up from his nap I looked out of our front room door (on the 1st floor) to see him in next doors garden! God knows how he got out as the doors downstairs were shut!! Anyway that was half 2 yesterday. We went looking for him last night and found him 4 doors down along the track but amongst the black thorn so we couldn't get to him, every time we shon the torch he hid. Our next door neighbour went in to her garage this morning and he shot out and jumped her back fence again and we haven't seen him since!
Has anyone had any experience of there indoor cat going missing and have they come back??
He doesn't usually wear a collar as he is indoors but as I put a lead on him yesterday I took some of his harness apart and put a bit around his neck which he still has on, I'm terrified he is going to get caught somewhere or worse have an accident as we live about 100 yards from the main road one way and about a mile to the motorway the other!
