I got a MALE bengal baby thays 6 weeks n 3days old from a breeder. Per the Breeder......The mother stopped nursing N started 2 hiss @ the kittens per the breeder works alot n he didnt have time 2 give the 4 boys the 24/7 care they need so he sold them ....1 to me at a very low cost. I saw the parents TICA papers & the parents. The mother seemed very mean. I brought him home 2day & gave him a small kitten bowl of KITTEN REPLACEMENT MILK IN THE CAN from PETCO. I also put a spoonful of WELLNESS wet can food in a small kitten dish as well as I put WELLNESS KITTEN dry in a kitten dish & DEER PARK bottled water in a kitten bowl out for him. He drank the milk n the water n sum of the dry but would not eat the wet. He pooped n pee'd in the litter box n I have him in my 20yo's bedroom since he is away in New York modeling. I am in the bedroom with him since I brought him....he has toys + a cat tree + a kitty bed + scratching things etc. BUT........he is crying NON STOP !!! What do I need 2 know. Im taking him 2 the vet 2morrow SATURDAY which ever day I can get in2 see my vet. He is playing & being a kitten but he is crying excessively. I have the TV on for him n we r in the room with him but im NERVOUS !!
He has not yet had his vaccines yet due 2 age.

WHAT DO I NEED 2 DO ?????

1. SHOULD I GIVE THE KITTEN REPLACEMENT MILK ??
2. SHOULD I ADD 5HE REPLSCEMENT MILK 2 THE WET ??
3. HOW DO I GET HIM 2 EAT WET ??
4. SHOULD I AD WATER 2 THE DRY 2 MAKE IT SOFT ??

It is a shame that the breeder let him go so early.

First, If he has eaten, drank, and used the litter box, he is doing fine.

What did the breeder feed him in terms of dry and wet food? Did the breeder feed KMR?

Have you cleared any kitty hazards from the room? Stuff he could get into or hurt himself with? I have kept new kittens and even adult cats in a small bathroom for the first few days. A whole bedroom may be too much for him.

He is crying because he misses him mom and siblings. I am not sure the TV will help with that. Once the room is kitten-proofed, I would leave out some KMR, water, and dry food and leave him alone for a bit. He will cry or play or calm down enough to sleep. Remember, he is in a strange place with strange sounds, smells, people, etc. Everything he knew is gone. Did you give him a pillow or cat bed to sleep on?

It is good that you are taking him to the vet.

He did not give the kitten any milk any replacement at all but I felt that at his young age it was important that he still be on milk. I have baby proof the room actually took instead of of the frame and put the mattress and box spring on the floor he could not under the bed and get caught anything the 2 night stands against and the only thing left in here is the armoire all his toys his kitty trees and his litter boxes and his food. reader gave me Aa ziplock bag full of the dry food that he was feeding him I don't know why he wasn't giving him canned food and I only give my cats bottled water by deer park. at what age will my vet begin the series of his vaccines. I think its best the breeder did give him away now since he was not home to take care of them. the kittens didn't seem to be getting any interaction with humans as one of the kittens ran from me and hiss and growl my children. I chose this kitten because he was the most friendly. the breeder told me he has for the other three. he said he doesn't think he's going to ever breed that queen again because she was not a good mother

yes I do have a cat bed some baby blankets and soft pillows as well as a 2 level cat tree 4 him. Ihave a huge cat tree that my ddaughters cat uses and I am keeping my daughter is kat away from him my daughters cat is 15 months old she has I had all her vaccines she has been worms she is leukemia negative she was at the vet this week to get a check up before I brought the kitten home and she was 100 percent healthy she just had all her updated vaccines in April. He sneezed two times so I got very worried. is there anything else I can do to make him feel more comfortable or act like his mother would

The breeder is extremely irresponsible.... They should not be breeding at all if they cannot cope when moms reject their young. A the age they are now, he could easily have separated them from mom and kept the kittens until the more appropriate age of 13 weeks. Has he registered the kittens at all?

I am shocked, to be honest. No responsible breeder would rehome the kittens at this age regardless. It seems pathetic excuses to get a quick sale. Worth noting that the vast majority of the expense in raising a kitten comes from 6-13 weeks so I really hope you paid next to nothing! Quite frankly, the best thing to have done is walk away and report them.... Kittens leaving at this age that have not been socialised appropriately can come with a whole lot of problems.

It's done now though and this poor little kitten is scared and misses his siblings. He really needed extra weeks with them to build up his confidence and teach him social behaviours.

Not all breeders use wet food so he possibly won't have had t before. You cold try with some small bits of chicken maybe. Try to encourage him by smelly foods. Mix a little warm water or warm kitten milk with the wet food... Being warm it smells stronger so will encourage him more. At this age he should have access to dry food all the time and offered meals 4-5 times a day. They have very small tummies so need to eat little and often. Continue the dry food the breeder gave you for a week or more before switching or his tummy will not be used to it. Then slowly change it over.

Is his poo firm?

Get him to a vet ASAP.

Yes.....He is eating & drinking. I added warm water 2 the dry the breeder gave until the hard food became soft. I have been putting him at his bowls every hour n after he eats I put him in2 the litter box. He has pooped 2x since 6pm & the 1st one was firmer than the 2nd. I assumed the replacement Milk was necessary 24 strong bones... healthy eyes and immunities. He wont eat the wet and I added ali warm water 2 it 2 make it a bit more appealing but he only eats that ROYAL CANINE KITTEN dry which was given 2 me by the breeder. I was uncertain if giving WELLNESS WET & DRY is okay bcuz I know its a better brand n is all NATURAL. I dont buy Iams or Royal or Purina or any of that. I have been in the bedroom with him since I brought him. I dont leave the room unless I have 2 go 2 the bathroom or get sumthg for my kids. He is playing n he has stopped his crying. I am giving him tons of affection n love 2 eliminate stress. I look at him n do the SLOW BLINK n rub his head like his mother would do. Is the milk replacement harmful 2 give now since the breeder didnt do it. Y he didnt is beyond me bcuz the milk has everythg a baby needs. I want to do everythg I can so he thrives so I wanted some good sdvice. Im calling the vets in the morning and seeing if I can get him seen by my vet. If my vet isnt in I guess I will hsve 2 see 1 of the partner vets. There r 5 vets in this practice but I always see 1 specific doctor. He is sleeping in his fluffy bed with a soft blanket. He has all his food and water available anytime he wants it. When he goes in the litter box he meoes very loud so I got worried something was rong. I took a warm cotton ball and wipped his but and peepee area n it seemed 2 stimulate him 2 go potty. Yes I should have walked away after I saw how the kittens were just running around the house and seemed on socialized. 1 of the kittens was backing up hissing and growling at us. Some breeders r just in it for a fast buck

Milk is not necessary really. At 6 weeks the kittens should be just about weaned, some litters take longer some don't but they can start having solid food when about 4 weeks old. Kittens might have a feed from mom still when weaned if she will let them but it's just comfort rather than nutrition. Cat food will have all the necessary components. If he has never had a milk substitute before it can cause tummy sensitivities now due to it being a new food. It is not necessary at all.

Royal Canin kitten is a food fed by a lot of breeders. It is nutritionally complete so there is no real need for anything else. Wet food though has it's place as i prefer not to feed an all dry diet. I also do not like adding water or anything to dryfood. It can cause tummy problems due to a build of of bacteria. It is the smell they are attracted to, not necessarily the texture. Dry food has a very large surface area for bacteria to live. Placing warm milk or water in it creates a medium for bacteria to grow.

I get my kittens to eat wet food by warming it a little. Roast, boiled or grilled chicken chopped up small has always enticed the pickiest of eaters. Other breeders swear by raw beef steak scraped so it forms a kind of puree. Chicken is bland though and unlikely to cause tummy issues so i would try that first.

Kittens learn social behaviour from playing with siblings. often singleton kittens and those taken from their family early develop biting issues because they have not been taught when they are being too rough. They can have toilet issues when exposed to a bigger area. You will most certainly need several litter trays around the house when he has the house to explore so he is never too far away from a tray. otherwise there will be accidents. Kittens taken away too early can have psychological separation issues. They get very attached to their human because you are now his mom and siblings. When you are not there he could become stressed, distressed or even destructive.

The breeder was just in it for money. There is absolutely no excuse for what they have done. Unfortunately, in giving them money for this kitten you are just encouraging them to do it more. If they struggle to sell the kittens they will stop breeding. In saving 1 kitten this way, it is just going to give him means and justification for many more. He needs stopping! I know it's hard when cute kittens are in front of you. The kitten would have to be free pretty much before i would recomend having them. Then there is no encouragement for them to do it again. I wonder what other lies he may have told.......

The vets office told me what he did was illegal for selling him thst young. Now I know better n all I can do is make sure he is tsken care of n thrives. He has stopped crying n loves 2 b close 2 me. I am trying 2 teach hiim hands r not 4 biting n play so I have a ton of toyes 4 him and when we play its with toys n if he bites my hands I pick him up like his mom would do and say no no. Idk if he even understands that. Heis eating n drinking fine but he has sneezed quite a few times
