So, daisy is almost 5 months old, Lilly had her first heat at 5 months old and as daisy is bigger than Lilly, I'm assuming its going to happen around the same time - not a great assumption I know but it's more of a preparation for the noise!

Daisy is becoming much more affectionate, rubbing things, finding her voice a bit more and coat has gone like silk, appetite comes and goes.

I'm taking these as signs that she's developing and her coming into heat could happen soon, I know she's not in heat though... Well she's not calling so I'm assuming she's not!

Thing is I caught her pee'ing out of the litter box today, she has done this in the past however with Feliway, positive reinforcement and tests to rule out infection, I believed I had got on top of this.

Now could this happen because of her developing and almost at the stage for coming into heat?

Do I wait until she's 6 months and potentially had her first heat cycle? Or do I ask the vets if they can do it now?

Get her neutered before her first heat. She is plenty old enough.
