Diablo is always staring at me. Does anyone else's baby do this? He is very attached to me and I just find it amusing that whenever I look at him, whether he is on the window sill or the pillow above me, he just stares at me with his beautiful big eyes. I find it amusing, and was wondering if this is the look of love??? lol

Yea, mine sits at my feet like a dog would and stares. It is kinda creepy. :) She also stops playing and checks in for a pet too. I take it as love. I am very much "her" human and my husband is not!

My hubby just told me that Diablo also stares at me when I am sleeping! Is this his way of watching over me?

Elaine, whenever he stares (especially during the daytime), he sits quietly, or lies down - not moving - like a statue...not like in his prey-like state...his "look" is totally different, and I can tell when he is ready to pounce.

BB does this to me too, and you are right it is a totally different look than the "crazy eye" I can be cooking, washing dishes, doin laundry, taking a shower! I can look over and there she is all googly eyed its kinda weird at times and a little freaky to be honest! She just appears out of no where and she sits quietly! I have notices recently Jasper does the same thing with my husband, but if for some reason he is not noticed he will begin to let you know he is watching!he will yowl at my husband until he goes over and kisses the top of his head and he continues to stare It has to do with bonding because B is my girl and Jasper has bonded more with my husband! She never does it to him and jasper never does it to me! They either admire us or they are coming up with an evil plan to take over !!!

Have you tried slowly blinking back at him? My Honey does this and when I blink back, she blinks back at me. Its like having a little private conversation with her. Ruby is less likely to do it, although she initiates the 'conversation' when she feels secure.

Archie does this all the time to my wife, he just can not seem to get enough of her, just sits and stairs at her like he is a statue.

He will also peek around corners at my wife, and if she says anything to him he ducks back, waits 10 - 20 seconds then does it all over again.

I guess it is just a game of peek-a-boo for him, but he will keep it up for a very long time, just as long as my wife keeps doing it with him.

Hah, I just glanced at Widget, who was staring at me. He turned his head away as if to say as if I had caught him out.

Both of my two stare at me a lot. They also act like my second and third shadows at times. I find it quite endearing.

Mine stare - sometimes the look is of - what on earth are you doing you crazy woman.
Other times I'm pretty sure that they are plotting something - either they are going to do something naughty or its a more long term plan to take over the house!

Keto sits n stares at me, I think he's trying telepathy and is sending food, food, food, food, food! other times he just sits n squints at me.

When I then open my eyes, Ella is usually sitting on the bedside table, inches away from me, staring. She only makes a noise when I look at her though.
