Hi :) I wouldn't let them be in the same room for the first day or so. If you have glass doors it would be ideal but let them smell eachother under the door first. Rub towels on each cat and let the opposite cat smell their scent without being able to see eachother. After a day or so let them have short and quick meetings with eachother for the first while. Dont force either cat towards eachother, just let them do their own thing. Something very important to remember is that if either of the cats seem stressed in any way, remove them from eachother as this would set off negative start for both of them. Give BOTH cats attention while introducing but most cats wont want to be touched at that point. In terms of feeding, dont feed them in the same room for the first few days as this could cause aggression, let them get used to eachother first. After a few days, put them in the same room but eating far away from eachother for a few days and you could get them closer as time goes on. The most important thing to remember is not to let either cat get stressed. Remove them from the situation if things are getting tense and do not force them together. If one cat wants to run away and hide, let them. In time they should begin to like eachother but it takes a while and a lot of patience! Good luck! :)
