Just to add my two pennies. Our boys are allowed in the bedroom during the day or if we are in the bedroom watching tv.... However, when it comes to bedtime, they get locked out.

I do not want two cats on my bed whilst me and my other half are getting down to business. I'm not a prude but not sure if I like the idea of my lady bits all out with cat claws around lol... Not keen on having an audience either... Bit of a passion killer hahaha

On a more constructive note, I know you say he doesn't like cats but he can't dislike them that much as he did let you get one.

Some people just don't like animals in their bedrooms.. I think it's a fair request as he did let you get one

I don't think its "fair " or "unfair" but I think it would have been nice to have worked out before the kitty came home! The cats don't come in my room when my husband is home from work, neither do my kids, he works nights! When he is at work its a different story! I usually have BB in the middle of my legs, My two year old on one side, my dog on the other, and now Jasper has been sleeping at my feet I can understand why people dont want them in there because it gets frustrating when you can't turn or breath for that matter. I on the other hand see why some people like them to sleep with them. It took me almost a year to get used to sleeping without my husband! I felt so alone sleeping by myself. Now, when I feel alone I go grab a kid or a cat and I am fine! If they are not in bed with me anyway! The door always gets closed and LOCKED in private moments! No audience for me either exoticcatlover!

I have never discounted reincarnation completely, so the two Shi Tzu's could really be two builders from Bolton in another life called Stan and Bert ogling her lady bits...

My son called his bits a 'foofie' cause thats what my older daughter calls her bits haha.

i dont have the problem of pets watching, but i still have kids sharing my bedroom, best form of contraception ever lol

My cats can open doors anyway so when we do shut them out for some 'adult fun' it often gets interrupted by them.... meowwwwing very loudly and then a few failed attempts at handle jumping before... 'ping' the door is open and 4 tonkinese come running in...... Pippa and Lily trying to get under the bed covers, Toby sits on my husbands back.... ALl 4 purring their heads off because they have won!

The worst is when they let Max, our Bengal in, and he decides to pee on something he shouldn't

I sometimes think kids would be easier to manage....

I'm actually coming to the conclusion that maybe keeping him out at night is a good idea! Like you all say..... I dont want an audience and it's also nice to have a comfortable peaceful sleep!

As soon as OH is out though he's allowed in the room hehe. He's coming around to Django though he just doesn't want to admit it!

I posted a photo on FB the other day (in the bedroom) and he saw it and said "that looks like our bedroom" .. he laughed and didn't get mad! Damn social media

I would get rid of the BF!

My other half doesn't let our two in the bedroom either, except on weekends or when he's away. To be honest, when he's away I'm in charge of the house and I'll do what I like thank you very much :) The reason we don't have them in the bedroom is they don't sleep until 1am, whereas the other half likes to sleep at 10pm and I like to sleep about the same time as the cats. So either the cats go out and sleep in the living room, or the other half goes to sleep in the spare room (which he has done several times because I held firm). It also means we don't get woken up at 6am or 5am being asked for breakfast. Only exceptions are when I refuse to leave the heating on in the living room just for the cats, so then they are allowed to sleep in with us in the warm.

We've also had the head cocking moment with the cats...we hid under the covers so they couldn't watch and refused to have them in during after that.

We have cats in and cats out nights. If they have been trouble during the evening, it is a wet food night for them (too many kitty farts!), it's fresh blanket night for us or we need some alone time, it is a kitty free night.

Has your BF had any bad experiences with kitty that you don't know about? My stray kitten would pounce out from under the bed and attack hubby's toes. I bandaged many sliced toes at 3 a.m. for awhile. He didn't tell me that that is what was happening until it was happening for a few weeks...
