Thank you!!! Yes he has had some very pretty babies!!! I was actually on the waiting list for the next male kitten he had!!! Then he became available so I had to have him! He was actually a surprise from my hubby :biggrin:

which made it even better!

Beautiful cat.

I am going to bring home a 3.5 year old breeder as well. It is actually my current cat's dad. He's a seal mink spotted, very laid back and loveable, gets along with animals and loves to sit in your lap. After my kitten passing, I am just scared to take another. had 2 pass at a very young age, 1 was wet FIP, the last one may have been dry FIP or something else. Figure I'll give a big loveable breeder a forever home nd not be living in fear of my kitten getting sick. The last one really took i out of me, he was a very special little guy and I became very attached very quick and he went in a hurry.

I have to say things take longer than what I thought! I had thought that we would have been able to introduce our two by now, but we are still a long way from that :sad:

Jasper is still REALLY scared and hides when we come in. He will let us pet him and pick him up but he is still not very confident! We had to have him taken in today and neutered for a SECOND time, boy guy :sad:

He is doing good though, I have to say that I thought he would be more laid back when we picked him up from the meds. He is WIRED tho, I have had to leave him alone so he doesn't hurt himself!!!

WOW thats amzing that he has never sprayed and he has the run of the house! You probably will not have to face socializing an adult cat like I am :eek:

I am really glad that things are turning around for you! You have been through enough!!!

I am not realy sure what happened :rolleyes:

I took him to our vet just to have him checked over and everything was fine,until.......he went to "feel" to make sure everything was ok and he felt a testicle :rolleyes:

So he had to go have it removed today! I am not sure how on earth that could have happened, but with my luck anything is possible! I am honestly just glad that is all it was!!!!

Can't wait to see him!! Is he a brown or a snow? I don't blame you for wanting to wait, I wouldn't want to take the chance with spraying either! I freaked out when Jasper peed on the couch but he was just nervous and has used his litter box since! The breeder said that he has never had a stud to spray after neuter! He said they have all stopped almost immediately! So that is a good thing for me and you both :biggrin:

He's a seal mink snow spotted. Wanted something to contrast the brown/black spotted I have now. I wanted to go this weekend to visit him, but I have to go to the doctor myself today. May have bronchitis or walking pneumonia. If I am feeling better I will go and visit, get some more pics. Breeder is going to send me some new ones otherwise.

Well the introductions began today :eek:

not exactly how I had planned but it happened! The room where we have Jasper, we put a chain lock at the top so the kids couldn't open it and bother him! Well while I was mopping the floor my two year old opened the door, only far enough to where there was about a three inch crack which is all the chain will allow! I heard the most horrible screams coming from BB :eek:

they were on opposite sides of the door smelling each other, BB was NOT happy! Jasper on the other hand just sat there without a care in the world!! So plan now is to wait a few days and let him recover more and then allow a proper intro! Any suggestions how to go about that?

BB doesn't mind his smell being on me but she did not like to see him face to face!! The breeder we got Jasper from suggested we leave him in his pet carrier and let BB see him that way. So in a few days we will start off like that and go from there. Once they or she is ok with him and not going off at the sight of him we will open the carrier. At his rate it will be forever before he will come out of the carrier to meet BB!! He has to be motivated to do EVERYTHING, so I am unsure as to how I should go about getting him out! I know he will not do it on his on!

WOW he looks like a big boy! Jasper has a really big head too, but he is on the small side. I have to fatten him up a little :wink:

I am sure at the rate he is eating it will not take long, plus being neutered recently. They tend to gain a little weight after being sterilzed! He is a little thin, it doesn't look like it in his pics but you can easiy feel his hips and ribs! I think he has lost a little within the first few days from stress! Our female, BB is waaayyy bigger than he is! Taller and heavier!
