Here are 2 videos of my cats. They act like this ALL day long. Arwen (the bengal) is new, Rohan (the moggie) has been here 3 years. Im not sure if Rohan is protesting or if he still has the urge to mate (he's been fixed a week, she's been fixed a week and a half) or whats going on. Should I come between them? Should I let them work it out??

Even though they look similar these are 2 seperate videos. I have tons of them because they do this all day long. Sometimes they just sit and stare face to face and then fall asleep.

from the way their ears are flattened & their tails are twitching, i would be a little wary. looks to me like they are still trying to test the boundaries with each other. give them time, they will work out their hierarchy.

does it then turn into screaming at each other & trying to bite/scratch or is this as far as it goes?

The worst it ever gets is just a bit louder. There's been no swatting or biting at all.

that's a very good sign...if they really objected to each other they would have taken chunks out of each other.

i reckon they are just testing each other out, you tend to find especially with bengals...it's all talk!! lol. in time they should be fine, they may not be the best of friends...some never are, but at least they will tolerate each other.

it's good that arwen doesn't seem to react badly to rohan patting her, just shouts at him lol. i'm sure if she were going to attack him for it, she would have done by now.

also, thank goodness rohan seems to be on the mend!! :D

Aw you said it! I was so worried about him, holy cow. He still isnt 100% but feels good enough to play and torment Arwen a tiny bit lol.

I snaped this in the dark this morning.

This was a few minutes ago. It ended up with Rohan touching her head, her screaming at him and wandering off lol. Thank God they dont actually attack each other. Its all vocal. Im perfectly ok with that lol

Is there any way to make them like each other? Can I do anything at all to help this along?
