My Bengal 'Lily' 10 months has recently started to scratch glass doors, mirrors and the fish tank. She looks very distressed when she does this and I don’t know how to help her. Over the last 3 weeks it has got worse.

Please can someone give me some advice as to why she is doing this and how I can help her.

Thank you

Rachel

We have a 6 month old who scratches at mirrors but I just assumed he saw his reflection and thought itwas another cat. He usually will make little chirping sounds at first and then gets annoyed when he doesn't get an answer and that is when he starts pawing at the mirror. Maybe its something simple like that for Lily. I am still new at having a bengal so probably not much help.

you say 'distressed'..
do you mean in pain?

sounds to me like she just wants to get 'through' the glass to the other side..
if thats the case, just ignore the behaviour. :D
unless obviously she is has a chance of harming herself..
