Biba (our female bengal) has recently started bullying one of our older moggies & its got to the point now where mini (the cat being bullied) is living outside most of the time. He's 11 and im not happy with this. Last night we decided to lock the catflap so that he'd stay in and at about midnight we found him cowering in the corner of the kitchen in his own urine with Biba standing guard over him. Can anyone offer any advice on what we can do about this.

Unfortunately once cats have got into that position there's no amount of persuading can make them like each other again. Can you keep them separate? Can your older moggy have a room of his own?

Has anything changed recently? How old is Biba and has she been spayed?

Thanks for your reply Nicola. Biba was 1 in August and she has been spayed.

We have 6 cats in total, 4 moggs (3 are 11 and 1 is 9) and 2 bengals Biba is 1 and Miss Bean is 7 months), the other 3 moggs just ignore biba when she’s being moody, but mini is terrified of her & just lets her beat him up.

I really want to try and sort this out as the thought of finding a new home for Biba is extremely upsetting and that really would be a last resort.

Nothing has changed in the house other than Miss Bean getting spayed about 3 weeks ago.

Any advice would really be appreciated.........im desperate (never thought id admit to that).

I have the same issue with Olly. Olly is always giving Kiki a hard time. I have tried everything. Nothing has worked. After he got neutered it only got a little bit better. I don't know what to do with him. He also wont let me pet him. He walks or moves away if I try. But, he has to be in the same room as me and he has to be laying next to me.. If I leave the room he is right behind me. If I take a shower and I don't let him in the bathroom he crys and paws at the door. I hope your cats come around... Good luck.
